CarolBrass valves

All pistons for CarolBrass valved instruments are made of stainless steel. Stainless steel is superior to other materials because of its durability and resistance to corrosion, a leading cause of valves sticking. All .460 bore CarolBrass trumpets (which is most of them) use the same valve block with the same high-quality, CNC precision-engineered, stainless steel pistons that work flawlessly and contribute to excellent slotting. Many other manufactures use a metal called monel for their high-end trumpets and some lesser alloy for their entry-level trumpets. CB valves are smooth and quick and will stay that way for many years.

This entry-level trumpet is made of yellow brass from the lead pipe through the bell. It has an adjustable ring on the third valve with a patented device to prevent the third valve slide from sliding off and a first valve slide hook. It has standard water keys and a silver-plated finish.
